《青绿甘南》纪录片分为三集，每集时长37分钟，包括第一集《有无相生》、第二集《天地仁心》、第三集《音声相和》；
作为一部现实题材作品，从创作开始，就将“真实性”作为追求的目标，从青山绿水到广袤草原，从环境革命到产业发展，以120分钟的时长，通过20多位人物的故事，从历史的维度与当下的变革切入，将中国传统自然观与习近平生态文明思想相融汇，以宏阔的视野、思辨的笔法和细腻的叙事，生动讲述作为黄河、长江上游水源涵养和补给地、国家生态主体功能区和生态文明先行示范区的甘南大地，十年来所激荡起的华彩蝶变。
在历时一年多的创作摄制过程中，团队深入甘南大地采访采风，将基层一线作为镜头聚焦之处，前期采访100多位人物，从中捕捉灵感、寻觅故事，进行艺术加工和素材提炼，并将最精彩之处予以呈现。
自然人文纪录片《青绿甘南》在新时代大背景下，从生态系统的角度审视甘南，以万物一体的“生态整体主义”为核心，聚焦自然与生态现实，以情感为基石，依托感动人心的故事，体现出以人为表达主体的生态之美；同时倡导万物和谐共生的新型审美观念，向大众传播生态和谐、万物共生、人与自然相生相依的生态理念，充分展现出甘南自然的本真之美、生态的和谐之美、生命的多样之美和表达的哲思之美，提升了大众对于人与自然关系的认知。

The natural and humanistic documentary "Green Gannan" examines Gannan from the perspective of the ecosystem in the new era, with the "ecological holism" of all things as the core, focusing on nature and ecological reality, using emotions as the cornerstone, and relying on touching stories to reflect the beauty of ecology with humans as the main expressive subject; At the same time, advocating a new aesthetic concept of harmonious coexistence of all things, spreading the ecological concept of ecological harmony, symbiosis of all things, and interdependence between humans and nature to the public, fully demonstrating the true beauty of Gannan's nature, the beauty of ecological harmony, the beauty of diverse life, and the beauty of philosophical expression, has enhanced the public's understanding of the relationship between humans and nature.
