《跟我走吧朋友》邀请来自马来西亚、美国、瑞士的名人嘉宾与国内明星嘉宾一起，以“民宿”为切入点，分别组队探寻海南、江苏和广西的特色民宿，从旅行中获取灵感，共同完成一次中西方文化元素结合的全新艺术创作。

The factual project IP, “In China : Mission SOJOURNey”, is jointly developed and launched by China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC) and Sina Studios. Combining culture and tourism themes, the project takes the worldwide popular “homestay” as the breakthrough point and creates a communication project integrating documentaries, short videos and infotainment contents.

In the program, the international experiencers consisted by well-known professionals from worldwide will enjoy their trip for four days and three nights in local homestays built with distinct characteristics in China. Being both travelers and hosts of the program, they start from cooperating as strangers to accomplishing tasks on professional fields through unique travel experiences. Those exciting stories are sparked by different nationalities, culture backgrounds and diverse living conditions of participants, showing the charming Chinese cultural characteristics, social development and classical civilization elements to the international audience.
